Karolina Athanasopoulou (’02) and Nikos Bountas (’07) will be moderating
Yannis Dosios (‘93) heads up Twitter’s Emerging Businesses team, which includes the Commercial teams for the Data Enterprise Solutions and Mopub businesses, as well as the identification, evaluation and scaling of new services and revenue streams for Twitter. Prior to this, Yannis was Global Head of Strategy & Operations for Twitter’s Customers organization. Prior to Twitter, Yannis was Vice President of Platform & Exchange at Yahoo, responsible for driving programmatic revenue across native, video and display advertising. In previous roles, Yannis launched and built Flurry’s advertising publisher network among mobile app developers and held positions as a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft, Vice President of Marketing at Smilebox, and a Strategy Consultant at the Monitor Consulting Group. Yannis earned an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Kostas Sgoutas (‘90) currently heads up Honey’s Financial Products and Payments division. Honey was acquired in early 2020 by PayPal. Prior to Honey, Kostas was the Chief Revenue Officer at Green Dot helping grow the company to over $1B in annual revenue and led its banking as a service (BaaS) programs with partners such as Apple, Uber, Intuit and Walmart. Kostas is also involved with select startups as an advisor and/or investor. Kostas holds a B. Eng in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, 2 MS in Technology & Policy and in Transportation from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University.
Andreas Stavropoulos (‘88) is a partner at Threshold (formerly DFJ Ventures) and a member of the firm’s management committee. He currently serves on the boards of a number of private companies, including several in the enterprise infrastructure space, such as Balena, CircleCI, Diamanti, Forward Networks, and Mythic, in addition to his involvement with other enabling platform technologies like Nantero, NumberAI, Lexent Bio, Zymergen, etc. Prior investments include Appstream (Symantec), Centerpost (West Corp.), Epocrates (public, then Athena Health), Everdream (Dell), Meetup (WeWork), Mobile 365 (Sybase), Silverpop (IBM), Vizu (Nielsen), and Yodle (Web.com). Before joining DFJ, Andreas was with McKinsey & Company’s San Francisco office, where he worked with senior management teams of corporate clients with an emphasis on information technology. Andreas was also a senior analyst at Cornerstone Research, a financial and economic consulting firm that helps resolve complex issues arising in high-profile business litigation. Andreas is a summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Harvard College in computer science. He also holds an MS degree in computer science from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and graduated first in his class. He currently serves on the HBS alumni board and on the Harvard School of Engineering Dean’s advisory council.
